aentron energy storage systems set the highest standard in quality, robustness, reliability and energy power ratio. aentrons battery technologies modularity, compact size and flexible integration possibilities allow their utility in diverse marine applications as both drive-train and as on-board power supply.
aentron is one of the few providers of Type Approved 12 Vdc to 900 Vdc maritime battery systems ensuring off-shore reliable energy supply whatever the conditions. aentron is currently one of the few manufacturers worldwide offering high voltage lithium-ion batteries (to 900 Vdc) with DNV-GL Type Approval (TAE00003BY). The utilisation of aentron Type Approved lithium-ion batteries confirms a high quality product that operates reliably within your fleet regardless of location or conditions.
For maximum flexibility
The prospective maritime customer has a choice of over eight energy storage module types that are configurable to most maritime applications. All aentron battery systems utilise only robust aluminium die-cast or steel reinforced housings that can withstand the toughest of conditions.
Besides being dust and weatherproof with a minimum tightness class IP66, the batteries can be operated safely within temperature range from -20 °C to +60°C. aentrons modular solutions enable boat builders new design freedoms for battery integration, thanks to their compact design and 360° installation capability.
Dr John De Roche, chief technology officer and founder of aentron GmbH, says: “It is our primary goal, to achieve the highest technical standards possible. From this background the recent successful DNV-GL Type Approval certification of the aentron lithium-ion battery system a strong signal to all our maritime customers, that we will match both the high expectations of shipowners as well as the strict component and materials requirements of shipyards.”
