Five people have been found guilty of manslaughter after the sinking of the Costa Concordia in January 2012.
Roberto Ferraini, director of the crisis unit; cabin service director Manrico Giampedroni; helmsman Jacob Rusli Bin; and officers Ciro Ambrosio and Silvia Coronica were all convicted by an Italian court.
Their sentences range from 18 to 34 months after plea bargains were agreed.
The ship’s captain Francesco Schettino, who is being tried separately for manslaughter and abandoning his ship, could face up to 20 years in jail if found guilty. His trial continues on 23 September.
